Despite recent completed refurbishments, walls still surround the same parts of the LEGO Store in Downtown Disney at Disneyland.
LEGO Store Construction

Compared to our visit last week, as visible below, it appears Woody and Buzz have been removed from the rocket. Other work behind the walls was not visible at the time of the visit.

Recently, the iconic LEGO model of Prince Phillip battling Maleficent atop Downtown Disney’s LEGO Store was restored with new elements. A new outdoor interactive area alongside the statue was also installed. Despite the new and refreshed elements, construction walls still surround the far side of the store. Behind the walls, it looks like prep work for another display may be underway, with a silver structure against the wall.
The Downtown Disney LEGO Store is located right next to the Monorail station. Guests can shop for LEGO sets, watch demonstrations, and turn personal photos into a mosaic. It’s also the West Coast’s one and only Minifigure Factory, where you can personalize your own custom LEGO Minifigure. Landscaping scrim was also visible last week at the corner of Salt & Straw.
