A teaser posted by runDisney has revealed the theme for the 2027 Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend.

“One of our fine feathered friends thinks race weekend is all about him,” reads text in the video, alongside white feathers and silhouettes of an angry Donald. The Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend 2027 logo at the end is in Donald’s color scheme of blue, yellow, and white with his sailor hat above the “R” and bowtie on the “O.”
The caption reads, “A runDisney anniversary plus an attention seeking duck. Guess the theme of our 2027 marathon weekend and comment below!”
It will be the 30th anniversary of the Half Marathon, which at one point was the Donald Half Marathon.
The Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend will be held January 6 – 10, 2027. The weekend usually features Mickey and Friends. The 2026 theme was literature, with Mickey and the gang starring in different story genres.
