March 2 is known as National Dr. Seuss Day, and Universal Orlando Resort has new bags, apparel, and Squishmallows available for purchase at Islands of Adventure Trading Company.
Adult Spirit Jersey – $85
The adult Spirit Jersey is white on the top half and red and white striped on the bottom half. The collar and sleeve cuffs are red. There is an image of Cat in the Hat on the chest. The back has “The Cat in the Hat” text across the shoulders in red and blue text.
Youth Spirit Jersey – $65
A youth Spirit Jersey is also available. It’s red on the top half and red and white striped on the bottom half. A large image of Cat in the Hat is in the center. On the back, “The Cat in the Hat” is written across the shoulders in blue and white text, and an image of a fish bowl sits on the “A” in “hat.”
Backpack – $65
The red and white striped backpack has the Cat in the Hat peaking out from the bottom, while Nick and Sally are hiding behind the hat. A zippered pouch is on the left side of the bag with an umbrella charm.
The interior lining is black with red and white polka dots in various sizes. There are also images of the Cat in the Hat. The bag’s back and straps are all black.
Crossbody – $60
This crossbody bag is red and blue striped, with an image of one either Thing 1 or Thing 2 on the front. There is also a three-dimensional version of Thing 1 or Thing 2 on the top. The back and strap is blue, and the interior lining is the same as the backpack—black with polka dots.
Cat in the Hat Squishmallow – $30
A Squishmallow version of the Cat in the Hat is available. It has 3D ears, a hat, a bowtie, and tail. His facial features are embroidered.
Thing 1 Squishmallow – $30
This Thing 1 Squishmallow has fuzzy blue hair and embroidered facial features. The bottom half is red with “Thing 1” on the front.
Thing 2 Squishmallow – $30
The Thing 2 Squishmallow is almost identical to the other one. It also has fuzzy blue hair and embroidered facial features. The bottom half is red with “Thing 2” on the front.
The whole family can wear the new Dr. Seuss Thing 1 & Thing 2 apparel collection that arrived at Universal’s Islands of Adventure a few months ago. All The Books You Can Read is currently closed in Seuss Landing at Universal Islands of Adventure.
