Magic Kingdom will close early on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, for a park-wide private buyout. Dave Matthews Band will perform in front of Cinderella Castle.
Magic Kingdom Early Closure
The buyout is for the SAP Sapphire & ASUG Annual Conference, which is from May 11 to 13 at the Orange County Convention Center. The conference ends with a private night at Magic Kingdom, including a concert by Dave Matthews Band in front of Cinderella Castle.
The event is from 7:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. Magic Kingdom will close to the general public at 5:30 p.m. The park opens that day at 9 a.m. with early entry for hotel guests at 8:30 a.m.
The other three Walt Disney World theme parks are operating as usual. EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios will be open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Disney’s Animal Kingdom will be open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Animal Kingdom has extended evening hours for guests of select resorts from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Early entry begins a half hour before opening.
Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach water parks will also be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. that day.
