The new Hoppers-themed trail is located within the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail, which recently completed bridge repairs. The “Camp Notice” sign is decorated with the Mabel’s Seek & Find trail logo and several photographs of animals with various handwritten notes.

Another similarly themed sign informs guests that they can explore the trail and complete challenges to "bring all the animals back to the glade."

The start of the trail includes a wooden sign depicting the beaver character, King George, as well as Hopper technology panels stuck to the ground.

Before heading into the trail, guests can pick up a free sticker and map. Some of the sticker options are King George, Tom Lizard, and Ellen Bear.

The front of the map is decorated with the trail’s logo, animal photographs, and handwritten notes, matching the sign at the trail’s entrance. Opening the map reveals a complete map of the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail and where the Hoppers-themed exhibits are. Guests are challenged to:

  • Explore – Spot the Reptile Queens
  • Don’t Be a Stranger! – Find another lizard on the trail and wave hello!
  • Weather Station – Find the temperature reading at the weather station
  • Beaver Dam – Stop by the beaver dam
  • Decode a Secret Message – Find the decoder to unlock the message from Tom Lizard
  • We’re All in This Together! – High frequency levels are harmful to the animals. Turn the dial to bring the animals back to the glade!

The corner of the map shows the six-character-long message from Tom Lizard for guests to decode.

Several wood signs are scattered throughout the trail, depicting the characters of Mabel (in her human form), the Insect Prince, Tom Lizard, King George, and the Insect Queen.

More wood signs along the trail depict the characters of Amphibian King, Loaf, and Tom Lizard.

Guests can find the decoder key for Tom Lizard’s puzzle placed on a table next to a communication device.

Hoppers is directed by Daniel Chong from a screenplay by Jesse Andrews and produced by Nicole Paradis Grindle. It stars Piper Curda as Mabel Tanaka, a 19-year-old animal lover who transfers her consciousness into a robot beaver, thanks to technology developed by Dr. Sam, voiced by Kathy Najimy.

The film has received a nearly perfect score on Rotten Tomatoes ahead of its Friday, March 6, release. Hoppers is also coming to Fortnite, and a Wildlife Crossing Garden has been recently added to EPCOT for the 2026 International Flower & Garden Festival.
