The National Weather Service in Melbourne, Florida is predicting record-breaking or near record-breaking high temperatures in Central Florida this week.

For Monday, March 9, the NWS states:
Above normal temperatures continue with highs nearing daily record values across the interior. Isolated showers and storms will be possible along the sea breeze this afternoon, primarily south of Cape Canaveral. A moderate risk of rip currents exists at all east central Florida beaches today.

They add that temperatures are trending above normal through the next week. They could hit 90°F by the middle of the week. Overnight, temperatures will be in the high 60s.
Another cold front will move in on Thursday with storm chances up to 60%.
This weather affects Walt Disney World Resort and Universal Orlando Resort. Make sure to stay hydrated if you’re spending time in the parks this week. Stormy weather later in the week could lead to ride closures.
With the Spring Break season starting, Walt Disney World and Universal Orlando Resort are both expected to be busy. Lightning Lane Premier Pass has sold out for Magic Kingdom on most days this week.
