SMART Play LEGO 'Star Wars' Sets Now Available Online

LEGO SMART Play is a screen-free electronic system that allows builders to interact with their sets with sensors, speakers, and lights to bring the figure to life. This relatively new technology is now featured on eight brand-new Star Wars sets that are available to order from LEGO now.

SMART Play: Luke’s Red Five X-Wing – $89.99

This set includes 581 pieces, a SMART Brick and charger, two LEGO SMART minifigures and five SMART Tags. Place the SMART Brick in the X-wing for motion-activated engine sounds and lights, laser-shooting noises, plus refueling and repair sounds. The SMART mini figures also come to life, triggering reactions to situations they experience.

The set comes complete with one SMART brick and one SMART minifigure. Place the SMART Brick on the SMART Tag in the starfighter for motion-activated engine sounds and lights, laser-shooting, refueling, and repair sounds. Darth Vader will also react to situations he experiences when connected to the brick.

Four SMART minifigures and four SMART tags are included in this set. However, SMART bricks must be purchased separately. SMART Han Solo, SMART Chewbacca, SMART Luke Skywalker, and SMART C-3PO, plus accessories including Luke’s blue Lightsaber, are all included in the set.

SMART Play: Mos Eisley Cantina – $79.99

Two SMART minifigures and three SMART tags are included in this 666-piece set. SMART Bricks from All-In-One Sets can be used to add responsive play with dynamic sounds and lights.

SMART Play: AT-ST™ Attack on Endor – $49.99

One SMART minifigure and two SMART tags are included in this 347-piece set that allows builders to recreate battle scenes from the AT-ST Attack on Endor.

SMART Play: Luke’s Landspeeder – $39.99

With 215 pieces, this set comes with only one SMART minifigure and one SMART tag. A SMART Luke Skywalker LEGO minifigure, a Jawa LEGO minifigure, and a Gonk Droid are included to recreate scenes from Star Wars: A New Hope.

SMART Play: Yoda’s Hut and Jedi Training – $69.99

This set has 440 pieces, two SMART minifigures, and two SMART tags for recreating Yoda’s hut and Jedi training. Lights and sounds can be added with a SMART Brick from an All-In-One Set.
