Tarot Deck and Glass Chess Set Now Available at Disneyland Resort

Our reporter noticed two new items available on Main Street U.S.A. We found the chess set at Crystal Arts, while the Tarot deck was found at the Main Street Magic Shop in Disneyland.

Glass Chess Set – $ 1,900.00

Glass Chess Set - $ 1,900.00

The glass chess set comes with pieces and a board. The board has circles featuring Mickey, Goofy, Donald, and Minnie in gold in the corners, while borders of stars and circles delineate the edges. Between these, a vine pattern with Hidden Mickeys in gold and stars fills the space between the four character heads. The chessboard itself is in gold and blue coloring, while each space has a Mickey emblem inside in the other color.

The pieces are made of white and blue glass. The pawns are Pluto, while the rooks are castle towers. The knights are Goofy dressed up as a knight, while the bishops are Donald wearing a jester hat. The king is Mickey Mouse with his sorcerer hat, while Minnie is the queen and wears a crown. The pieces match each other’s side, and except for the rooks, are the heads of the characters.

Villains Tarot Deck – $ 24.99

The tarot deck comes with a guidebook and features the Evil Queen, Dr. Facilier, Maleficent, Ursula, Jafar, and Scar on the cover. The back explains that the deck includes fully illustrated cards and a 128-page guidebook.

The sides feature the poisoned apple as well as the name of the artist, Ellie Goldwine.

Some of the cards were visible on a display stand, where it’s visible that Kronk is portraying the Fool. On the back of the packaging, it’s visible that Tamatoa is the Sun, Hades is Death, Captain Hook is the King of Cups, and Mother Gothel is the Empress, among others.
