Vanellope’s Sweet Pop World Decorations & Merchandise Arrive Early at Tokyo Disneyland
From April 9th to June 30th, Tokyo Disneyland® will host “Vanellope’s Sweets Pop World,” the sixth installment of the “Disney Palpalooza” special event series.
Although Disney Pal-Palooza: Vanellope’s Sweet Pop World doesn’t officially begin until April 9, Tokyo Disneyland guests can enjoy a month of special themed decorations, food, and merchandise starting today.
Vanellope’s Sweet Pop World Decorations Arrive
The official Tokyo Disney Resort Instagram accounts for the park and for merchandise shared the news with first looks at the sweets-themed decor now in place around the park, one month ahead of the event start on April 9.
A statue in the entrance plaza features Vanellope standing in a bowl overflowing with treats, including marshmallows, cookies, and giant donuts dripping with icing and whipped cream. A “chocolate” plaque next to her bears the Vanellope’s Sweet Pop World event logo.
A statue of Wreck-It Ralph is on one of the columns flanking the plaza, standing atop a mound of pink icing with sprinkles.
“Pal-Palooza Parfait” Merchandise
The merchandise account shared some of the items now available for sale, featuring a “Pal-Palooza Parfait” motif. Along with Vanellope, Chip and Dale are also featured on the merchandise, which includes transparent zip pouches and lidded cups that resemble donut-topped ice cream sundaes. Themed cookies are also shown.
A cosplay hoodie of Vanellope’s own blue sweatshirt will also be available, complete with hot pink X stitching, matching drawstrings, and a Vanellope patch on the kangaroo pocket. Although not fully visible in the photo, we can also make out a large graphic on the back.
