Part of River Roost Bar Closed at Disney’s Port Orleans Riverside

Part of the River Roost bar at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside is closed, apparently for refurbishment. We also saw crew members working on part of the resort’s façade.

Port Orleans Resort Refurbishment

White construction walls and planters block part of River Roost, including the main entrance. But guests can still access the bar and part of the seating area. A sign on the door points to the entrance, as well as Boatwright’s Dining Hall and Riverside Mill Food Court.

Around the corner, it’s clear the walls only block a small section of the River Roost seating area. But more of the bar might be blocked off for further work later on.

There is still plenty of seating, which guests can enjoy all day. The bar is open from 5 p.m. to midnight.

Outside, blue paneling has been removed from part of the resort’s façade facing the river. A few crew members were working on a balcony that is not accessible to guests, between Boatwright’s and Riverside Mill. Paneling had been stripped to reveal the black sheathing underneath and, in one section, plywood.

Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside is also currently going through a room refurbishment, which was extended into 2027.
