The younger sibling of Disneyland, Disney California Adventure, has many of the more exhilarating rides—often with queue lines to match. While there aren’t as many Lightning Lane options at this park as at Disneyland, here are the three best and worst choices.
Disney California Adventure Lightning Lanes
Single Pass
The Lightning Lane Single Pass is completely separate from the Multi Pass and lets you purchase access to a single attraction.
At Disney California Adventure, there is only one attraction available as a single Lightning Lane pass: Radiator Springs Racers. This attraction is not available as one of your three choices on a Multi Pass.
Multi Pass
Unlike the Single Pass, the Multi Pass allows you to choose an attraction upon entering the park. After redeeming that selection, or after two hours since making the selection, you can book your next attraction—subject to availability.
At Disneyland, the following attractions are redeemable through the Multi Pass:
- Goofy’s Sky School
- Grizzly River Run
- Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT!
- Incredicoaster
- The Little Mermaid – Ariel’s Undersea Adventure
- Monsters, Inc. Mike & Sulley to the Rescue! (closing in 2027)
- Soarin’ Around the World (soon to be Soarin’ Across America)
- Toy Story Midway Mania!
- WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure
Premier Pass
Beyond Multi Pass, you also have the option to use Premier Pass at Disney California Adventure. Once you’ve purchased the pass for your chosen park and date, you can enter the Lightning Lane entrances one time for each participating attraction (the same as the Multi Pass, plus the Single Pass) at any time during the day. There’s no need to book return times or manage ride reservations. Simply tap in at the Lightning Lane entrance and enjoy the ride.
