Crews have torn up pavement and flower beds for refurbishment around the Disneyland Hotel parking lot.
Disneyland Hotel Parking Lot Construction

Part of the median flower bed at the roadway entrance to the resort has been demolished. The dirt left behind is surrounded by a tall fence. The entrance and exit remain open. A temporary A-frame sign points guests to Downtown Disney and the theme parks.

Further in the parking lot, a large section of the lot has been torn up. There was a skid-steer loader (often called a Bobcat) and a dumpster on site, behind fencing and temporary barriers.
Disney hasn’t made an announcement about the construction but it may be for general refurbishment of the area.
