Sony and Marvel shared a new look at Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse, the third film in the Miles Morales-focused animated series, which will finally release in 2027.

The four images feature Miles Morales / Spider-Man, his dad Jefferson Morales, young versions of his dad and his uncle Aaron Davis / The Prowler, Hobie Brown / Spider-Punk, and Miguel O’Hara / Spider-Man 2099. The image of Hobie includes stylized text reading “Gonna Save Your Dad.”
The first footage from the film was played at CinemaCon but was not released publicly.
Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse will be in theaters on June 18, 2027, a date that has shifted multiple times. It was originally scheduled to release on March 29, 2024, but was removed from the Sony release calendar due to the SAG-AFTRA and WGA strikes in 2023. In 2025, a new release date of June 4, 2027, was finally announced. This was later delayed to June 25, then shifted back to June 18.
The threequel is written by Chris Miller and Phil Lord, along with David Callahan, and directed by Bob Persichetti and Justin K. Thompson. Shameik Moore reprises his role as Miles Morales alongside Hailee Steinfeld as Spider-Gwen, Brian Tyree Henry as Jefferson Morales, Jake Johnson as Peter B. Parker / Spider-Man, Jason Schwartzman as Dr. Johnathon Ohnn / The Spot, Karan Soni as Pavitr Prabhakar / Spider-Man India, John Mulaney as Peter Porker / Spider-Ham, Daniel Kaluuya as Hobie Brown, Nicolas Cage as Peter Parker / Spider-Man Noir, and Liev Schreiber as Wilson Fisk / Kingpin. Jharrel Jerome voices the Earth-42 version of Miles G. Morales / The Prowler.
