Jellyrolls Opening a New Location Later This Year

Jellyrolls, the former dueling piano club at Disney’s BoardWalk, is still planning to open a new location.

The bar closed in early 2025, but they have always maintained they would move to a new space outside of Walt Disney World. They just had to find the perfect spot.

Jellyrolls officials confirmed to the Orlando Sentinel that a new location is lined up in Lake Buena Vista, 10 minutes from the BoardWalk.

Construction has already begun on the venue. A grand opening is planned for the late summer or early fall.

“We’re excited to continue the legacy we’ve had and do our thing,” said Amber Antel, director of operations.

The new Jellyrolls will have free parking and rideshare drop-off and pick-up at the front door.

It will still be restricted to ages 21+ and offer specialty cocktails and signature popcorn. The song list will continue to avoid overly sexual or violent lyrics. “We’re not going to change our standards,” said Scotty Kilwein, director of entertainment. “We want everyone to feel comfortable.”

The new space will have technologically advanced sound and letting, plus an improved stage.
“The room is being designed with the whole intention of the show being the focus,” said Kilwein. “It will be better for the musicians, and it will make everybody feel like they are part of the show.”

“We wanted to give our clientele an even better experience,” said Antel. “We weren’t just looking for a new home, we were looking for the right home — one we intend to be in for a long time.”
