Piaggio Fast Forward has unveiled a new Star Wars robot. The special edition cargo-carrying gitamini model is inspired by Grogu and his floating pram. It’s available for purchase from DisneyStore.com.

Grogu gitamini Droid – $2,875

Working closely with Disney Consumer Products, PFF reimagined their standard gitamini to resemble Grogu’s pram — complete with Grogu pictured inside the lid. It has custom decals on the exterior and interior. It has custom robot sounds and light patterns to communicate status updates, plus new Star Wars-inspired sound designs with real-time audio responses to changes in its leader’s behavior.

The robot autonomously follows behind its leader with the push of a button, thanks to an array of cameras and sensors. It navigates with PFF’s proprietary “pedestrian etiquette” technology, ensuring smooth, polite movement and comfortable distances around obstacles and people.

The gitamini’s cargo capacity is up to 20 lbs in a bin of 17.9″ x 16.5″ x 18.9″. It connects to the mygita app, where users can name the robot, check its battery status, and stream music via the built-in Bluetooth speaker. It has a runtime of seven hours.

The set includes the robot, charger, lens cleaning kit, quickstart guide, user manual, and registration card.

“We’re thrilled to further our mission of blending PFF’s smart technology with one of the most iconic franchises in the entertainment industry to create something that feels joyful, fresh, and unique to the Star Wars galaxy,” Greg Lynn, CEO, Piaggio Fast Forward said. “With renewed excitement for a new Star Wars theatrical release, the timing could not have been better to incorporate the fan-favorite Grogu into our robots and bring fans a new way to enjoy the character, wherever their adventures may take them.”

This is PFF’s second Star Wars robot following the droid-inspired G1T4-M1N1 released last year.
