A new shuttle service has launched in the Disneyland Resort area after the permanent shutdown of the Anaheim Resort Transportation (ART) bus service.

March 31 was the last day for guests to use ART for travel between Disneyland and local hotels. Those hotels are now trying to fill the gap. Mickey Visit shared details of the new Anaheim Resort Campus Shuttle servicing these four off-property hotels:

  • Hilton Anaheim
  • Anaheim Marriott
  • Clarion Hotel Anaheim Resort
  • Sheraton Park Hotel at the Anaheim Resort

The service offers a $6 day pass. From 7 a.m. to 10 a.m., it will operate every 30 minutes. From 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., it will be available every hour. Then from 8 p.m. to 30 minutes after park close, it will be every 30 minutes again.

A new shuttle bus also now runs from the Toy Story Parking Lot to the rest of the Disneyland Resort. This is run by the same operator as Cast Member shuttles.

Mickey Visit reported that there were no issues with traffic or rideshare backup on Harbor Boulevard with the changes in service on Wednesday, April 1.

The public transportation system, Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA), is also available.

A separate “Grove Transit” service connects the 10 Garden Grove hotels, listed below, to Disneyland. This service costs hotel guests a small fee.

  • Sheraton Garden Grove – Anaheim South
  • Hyatt Regency Orange County
  • Embassy Suites by Hilton Anaheim South
  • Delta Hotels by Marriott Anaheim Garden Grove
  • Anaheim Marriott Suites
  • Hilton Garden Inn Anaheim/Garden Grove
  • Homewood Suites by Hilton Anaheim-Main Gate Area
  • Residence Inn Anaheim Resort Area/Garden Grove
  • Great Wolf Lodge Southern California
  • Hampton Inn & Suites Anaheim/Garden Grove

Separate shuttles run from The Hyatt Regency, Candy Cane Inn, and Anaheim Majestic Garden Hotel.

Anaheim officials are discussing the possibility of a system-wide operator to run shuttles at all the hotels.
