Although not announced, Disneyland has closed the Pirate’s Lair on Tom Sawyer Island for immediate refurbishment.
Pirate’s Lair on Tom Sawyer Island

According to the Disneyland Park attraction page, the Pirate’s Lair is closed now and will be through at least May 7. The calendar shows it reopening on May 8, though it is possible the unannounced refurbishment could last longer. Pirate’s Lair refers to the entire Tom Sawyer Island. So, at this time, you cannot visit it at all.
The island opened at Disneyland on June 16, 1956. It was officially renamed from Tom Sawyer Island to Pirate’s Lair on Tom Sawyer Island on May 25, 2007. This was in conjunction with Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End.
Here are some photos and video from when the island reopened in 2021 following pandemic closures.
