In a recent announcement, it was revealed that Toy Story games are the next major content drop for the popular Lingokids app.
Toy Story Coming to Lingokids

The April 27 update to Lingokids will have 10 new activities that gamify skills like literacy, problem-solving, and critical thinking using Toy Story characters and storylines. Some of the games that were previewed help young users learn about colors, numbers, and measuring. Users can learn vocabulary by repairing Woody before Andy gets home or learn spatial awareness by packing a box with toys.

The new content reflects Lingokids’ boarder mission to help kids learn while sharing that experience with characters they know. Lingokids founder and CEO Cristobal Viedma said that when they started seeing search terms in their app for “Moana” or “Blippi,” the company pivoted to licensing partnerships to give the users what they were wanting.

Lingokids has been in partnership with Disney since November 2025, initially launching games with characters like Mickey Mouse, Elsa, and Moana. Since then, other crossovers have been added, like Spider-Man, Cars, Lilo and Stitch, and Zootopia (coinciding with the release of Zootopia 2). Their goal is to launch two new IPs per month with around 10 games each. This latest Toy Story launch is timed with the upcoming release of Toy Story 5 in theaters.
It was also revealed that more Marvel-themed games and even the first Star Wars games will be coming out later this year.
Toy Story 5

The latest film in the Toy Story franchise involves Buzz, Woody, Jessie, and the rest of the gang being challenged when “they’re introduced to what kids are obsessed with today… electronics!”
Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, and Joan Cusack return for their respective roles as Woody, Buzz Lightyear, and Jessie. New characters Lilypad (Greta Lee) and Smarty Pants (Conan O’Brien) also join the cast.
Toy Story 5 releases in theaters on June 19, 2026. View the official trailer below:
