‘Hoppers’ Nature Ambiance
Take a closer look at The Glade, the wildlife that inhabit it, and maybe a few surprises.
Hoppers is directed by Daniel Chong from a screenplay by Jesse Andrews, and is produced by Nicole Paradis Grindle. It stars Piper Curda as Mabel Tanaka, a 19-year-old animal lover who transfers her consciousness into a robot beaver invented by Dr. Sam, voiced by Kathy Najimy.
The movie had a nearly-perfect Rotten Tomatoes score before it even released in theaters.
In its first weekend, Hoppers earned $46 million at the US box office as well as $88 million globally. It premiered at #1 and was the best opening for a Pixar original film — as well as an original animated movie in general — since Coco (2017). It has grossed $367 million worldwide so far.
