Disneyland Resort is offering several limited-time activities and experiences for summer 2026, including a complimentary Star Wars experience for young guests at Savi’s Workshop in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.
Youngling Saber Building Expo – A Loth-Cat Crew Experience

For a limited time beginning May 22, guests visiting Black Spire Outpost can take part in the Youngling Saber Building Expo – A Loth-Cat Crew Experience at Savi’s Workshop.
The experience is designed for younglings ages 3 to 9, who must be accompanied by an adult. During the offering, kids and their families can participate in an interactive lightsaber-building adventure and join the Loth-Cat Crew.
This is a complimentary experience, but guests should note that a lightsaber is not included with participation. Guests will have the option to purchase their lightsaber at the end of the activity.
Savi’s Workshop is normally home to the paid handbuilt lightsaber experience in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, where guests build a custom lightsaber as part of an immersive story-driven offering. Because the standard experience comes with a high price tag, this limited-time youngling-focused activity gives families a chance to step inside the workshop without committing to the full purchase upfront.
The Youngling Saber Building Expo will be offered daily as capacity allows. Additional information, including dates, operating hours, and lightsaber pricing, will be available on the official Disneyland website beginning May 22.
What about the Disney parks on the other side of the country? Walt Disney World is also rolling out several summer offerings for kids and families, including Bluey’s Wild World at Disney’s Animal Kingdom and Jessie’s Roundup at Magic Kingdom as part of Cool Kids’ Summer.
