While guests are still able to personalize their stateroom door with magnetic signs and other decor, Disney is now implementing a new guideline.

Door decorating is still allowed, however, decorations are now only allowed to be placed on the doors. Pieces are not permitted on the corridor walls or ceilings.

As usual, guests should not use tape or other adhesives, as they can damage the door’s finish. Over-the-door hanging organized are also not permitted. Items of value should not be used for decoration, and Disney states they are not responsible for any missing or damaged items. And, sound and video elements should not be used.

Guests who damage doors will be fined $100/incident to cover the cost of repairs.
