Inside Out’s Joy Colors With Guests During Her Meet & Greet at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Joy from Pixar’s Inside Out is now greeting guests in a more personal and interactive way at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

The character is still appearing in her usual Pixar Plaza meet-and-greet location, with appearance times listed in the My Disney Experience app. However, instead of waiting in a traditional queue for a quick photo opportunity, guests can now freely enter the area and spend time coloring and chatting with Joy in a more natural setting.

The shaded activity area features colorful picnic tables, crayons, and coloring pages for children to use while interacting with Joy.

Rather than posing for a rapid meet-and-greet photo line, Joy wanders between tables, taking time to individually interact with children, look at their artwork, and even sit down to color alongside them.

The experience feels much more relaxed and conversational than a standard character greeting, allowing families to enjoy spontaneous and candid moments with the Inside Out character.

Parents can take photos throughout the interaction while children participate in crafts and spend extended time with Joy at their own pace.

This offering joins several other interactive entertainment experiences that have been available around Walt Disney World like last year’s craft experience with Daisy Duck at Animal Kingdom.
