The Halloween season starts in late August, but Magic Key holders will be able to pick up tickets as early as mid-June.
Pre-Sale Dates Announced for Halloween 2026
Disneyland Resort has shared the Magic Key pre-sale dates for Oogie Boogie Bash, the resort’s wildly popular Halloween special event. Magic Key holders will get an early opportunity to purchase tickets for the after-hours event at Disney California Adventure.
According to a recent Magic Key holder email, Inspire Key holders (the highest, costliest level) will be able to buy tickets beginning June 16, while all other Magic Key holders will have access to the pre-sale on June 17.
Oogie Boogie Bash is returning as part of the Halloween festivities at Disneyland Resort, which begins August 21. The separately ticketed event is known for its Disney villain-themed offerings, trick-or-treat trails, rare character appearances, entertainment, and Villains Grove, the atmospheric walkthrough experience that has become one of the event’s signature offerings.
The 2026 event calendar includes 33 nights across August, September, and October. Dates listed for each month are as follows:
- August 18, 20, 23, 25, 27, and 30.
- September 1, 3, 6, 8, 10, 13, 15, 17, 20, 22, 24, 27, and 29.
- October 1, 4, 6, 8, 11, 13, 15, 18, 20, 22, 25, 27, 29, and 31.
Tickets for Oogie Boogie Bash typically draw heavy demand, with customers sometimes waiting for hours in online virtual queues, and tickets ultimately sell out in short order following their release.
The Magic Key pre-sale gives Disneyland Resort Key holders an early window before broader ticket availability, though Disney has not yet shared additional general-sale details for regular guests.
