Orlando International Airport Parodies Star Tours for May the 4th

Orlando International Airport (MCO) posted a parody video of Star Tours in honor of Star Wars Day, a.k.a. May the 4th. The video is a POV of “MCO Tours” resembling the interior of a Star Tours StarSpeeder looking out into the airport.

MCO Tours

The tour ship encounters Darth Vader and Stormtroopers (represented by action figures). They’re searching for the rebel spy — the airport’s famous The Traveler sculpture. Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer even makes a cameo as a Jedi hologram, inspired by his narration aboard the airport’s tram. The tour encounters other action figure characters, a dog dressed as Chewbacca, and a TIE Fighter before Vader is finally defeated by a wayward suitcase.

This isn’t the first time MCO has added its own spin to Walt Disney World attractions. In February, the airport posted a farewell tribute to Animal Kingdom’s DINOSAUR with DINOSAUR (MCO Edition), featuring a toy Time Rover racing through the airport.
