‘Toy Story 5’ Character Posters Introduce Lilypad Alongside Woody, Jessie, and Buzz

Disney and Pixar have released a trio of new character posters for Toy Story 5, offering another look at the film’s newest tech-focused character, Lilypad, ahead of the movie’s June 19, 2026 theatrical release.

The first poster features Jessie staring nervously toward Lilypad, a bright green frog-inspired tablet device with oversized animated eyes and small webbed feet at the corners of the screen. Jessie appears caught off guard as the new character watches her from the opposite side of the image.

Woody – Toy Story 5 Promo Poster

Another poster shows Woody cautiously reaching toward Lilypad while the tablet gives a slightly smug expression back toward the cowboy sheriff.

Buzz – Toy Story 5 Promo Poster

Buzz Lightyear appears in the third poster, facing Lilypad in a more serious confrontation-style pose as the mysterious device looks back with narrowed eyes.

All three posters include the Toy Story 5 logo and confirm the film’s theatrical release date of June 19, 2026.

Disney and Pixar have already teased Lilypad as a major source of conflict in the upcoming sequel. The frog-themed smart tablet belongs to Bonnie and appears to encourage her to spend more time focused on screens and digital entertainment rather than traditional toys and imaginative play.

According to the film’s synopsis, Woody, Buzz, Jessie, and the rest of Bonnie’s toys will struggle with the growing role of technology in children’s lives as electronic devices begin competing with classic toys for attention.

Although the Pixar and ToyStory accounts have just shared the new posters on Instagram within the past day, these same posters already recently made an appearance in Toy Story Land at Hollywood Studios.
