American Flags Half-Staff for Pulse Nightclub Shooting

American flags at Walt Disney World theme parks and across Florida are at half-staff for Pulse Remembrance Day, which honors the anniversary of the deadly shooting at Pulse nightclub on June 12, 2016.

Governor Ron DeSantis ordered flags in Florida to be flown at half-staff for the day.

2026 marks the 10th anniversary of the shooting. 49 people were killed and 53 were wounded during the club’s Latin Night. At the time it was the deadliest mass shooting by a single gunman in U.S. history.

The club was demolished earlier this year to make way for a memorial dedicated to the victims.
