With the project underway in some way, shape, or form since 2021 for the potential third Disneyland Paris theme park, now another berm is being created to block the eventual addition from the outside world.
Berm Work for 3rd Park

The purpose of this berm construction is to act as a visual and sound barrier. The construction on the new theme park would sit just behind Disney’s Sequoia Lodge.
Disney has agreements in place to build the park before March 24, 2036, though it’s unclear if this date is still a priority among the parties. The agreement between the French government and Disney says the park can be built if annual attendance goes over 22 million. The attendance in 2025 was roughly 15.5 million.

While the potential third park could be delayed again, it is clear that earthwork is being done in the area previously mentioned.

The berm can be seen being created beside Boulevard du Parc, the road that appears as a boundary for the Disneyland Paris area.

Aerial photos shared by DLPWorks also show an embankment between the current park area and the road beyond.

This berm is southwest of Disney Newport Bay Club, seen above.
