Runners planning their itineraries for next year will need to adjust their calendars… The dates for the 2027 runDisney Springtime Surprise Weekend at Walt Disney World Resort have been officially changed.
Originally scheduled to take place from April 15–18, 2027, the popular race weekend has been bumped up by one full week. The multi-day event is now scheduled for April 8–11, 2027.
2027 Registration Windows Unchanged
Despite the scheduling shuffle for the actual races, runDisney has confirmed that the upcoming registration windows remain exactly the same. If you are looking to secure a spot, make sure you are ready on the following mornings:
- Club runDisney (Gold & Platinum Members): June 30, 2026
- General Registration: July 7, 2026
Because runDisney events famously sell out within minutes, you will want to mark your calendar for these early summer dates to ensure you don’t miss out.
The 2027 race themes will celebrate the storied history of Walt Disney Animation Studios under the banner theme “Running Through the Years.”
This classic animation theme marks a creative shift from last year’s event, which heavily highlighted iconic Disney best friend duos like Judy and Nick, and Winnie the Pooh and Tigger.
