Happy Ice Returns to Downtown Disney

A colorful and once-familiar frozen treat option is returning to the Downtown Disney District at Disneyland Resort, as Happy Ice prepares to debut a new cart serving its signature Philadelphia-style Italian ice. It will also debut Happy Ice’s first fully all-natural menu.

The dessert company announced it will once again bring its rainbow-colored cart to Downtown Disney, offering guests a refreshing way to cool off during the busy summer season.

The Downtown Disney District location will also debut Happy Ice’s first fully all-natural menu, featuring handcrafted Philadelphia water ice made with real fruit, pure cane sugar, and premium ingredients, free from high-fructose corn syrup and artificial dyes.

Guests will also be introduced to JOY-LATI, a new layered dessert featuring Italian ice, vanilla sweet cream, sauces, fresh fruit, and nostalgic flavors such as Banana Pudding and Strawberry Shortcake.

The menu will feature new specialty flavors, including Berry Bonanza and Cloud 9, along with fruit-based sauces and monthly rotating exclusives.

There is no official date yet, but it will open sometime in June.

Happy Ice specializes in Philadelphia-style Italian ice made with fruit-forward flavors and premium ingredients. The frozen treats feature swirls of red, blue, yellow, and green, creating a rainbow appearance that fits perfectly with the cart’s colorful aesthetic.

Happy Ice has previously appeared at Downtown Disney, but this latest offering brings a refreshed cart experience to the shopping, dining, and entertainment district.

The company was founded in Los Angeles in 2017 and has expanded from a single food truck into a popular Southern California dessert brand known for its cheerful presentation and colorful frozen treats.
