Hasbro is releasing new Black Series figures based on the classic animated television series Star Wars: Droids.

Star Wars: Droids Black Series Figures

Hasbro recently shared official photos of their new Black Series figures inspired by the animated show, Star Wars: Droids: The Adventures of R2-D2 and C-3PO, which ran from 1985 to 1986. Each figure comes with a gold collectible coin and Kenner Products-inspired packaging.

The figures are available for pre-order now and will ship starting September 1, 2026.

Artoo-Detoo (R2-D2) Black Series Figure – $27.99

The first figure depicts R2-D2 with a retro color scheme of white, light blue, and royal blue. He comes with several droid parts and tools that can be attached to his body, as shown in the Kenner packaging.

See-Threepio (C-3PO) Black Series Figure – $27.99

Artoo’s companion, C-3PO, has also been recreated in figure form. The only color accent provided for his gold body is the blue wiring exposed in his midriff. He does not come with accessories besides the collectible coin.

Imperial Stormtrooper Black Series Figure – $27.99

The next figure is designed to look like one of the Imperial stormtroopers from the show. The stormtrooper has white-and-black armor with gray and blue accents on the helmet. A blaster and an electrostaff come with the figure.

Boba Fett Black Series Figure – $27.99

Last up in the collection is a Boba Fett figure featuring retro brown, yellow, and blue armor. The bounty hunter appeared in the animated series when R2-D2 and C-3PO traveled to the planet Boonta for a speeder race. The Boba Fett figure comes with a jetpack, blaster, and cape.
