After Disney agreed to pay a $50 million class action settlement with YouTube TV and DirecTV subscribers, plaintiffs can now submit to claim their payment.
Disney Settlement With YouTube TV & DirecTV

The lawsuit, filed in 2023, claimed Disney inflated streaming costs by requiring that streaming platforms include ESPN. It included Fubo TV subscribers but they have not yet settled with Disney.
You are eligible for a payment if you purchased a YouTube TV subscription and/or DirecTV streaming live pay TV subscription (including DirecTV Stream, DirecTV Now, and AT&T TV Now) from the period beginning April 1, 2019, through March 31, 2026.
Excluded from the Settlement Classes are Disney, its employees, officers, directors, legal representatives, heirs, successors, and wholly or partly owned subsidiaries or affiliates; counsel for the parties and their employees; and the judicial officers and immediate family members and associated court staff assigned to the lawsuit.
Subscribers can submit a claim form on onlinetvsettlement.com. September 8, 2026 is the deadline to submit online. Mailed submissions must be postmarked by September 8.
The same date is the deadline to excuse yourself from the settlement.
December 1, 2026 is the deadline to object and the final approval hearing is scheduled for January 14, 2027, at 9:00 a.m.
90% of the Net Settlement Fund will be allocated for payments to Settlement Class Members who resided in a Repealer Jurisdiction at any time during the class period. 10% of the Net Settlement Fund will be allocated for payments to the remaining Settlement Class Members located in the Non-Repealer Jurisdictions.
