Disney and Topps have revealed a unique addition to the upcoming 2026 Topps Chrome Disney collection, as Formula 1 superstar Lewis Hamilton has signed official trading cards featuring his character from Pixar’s Cars franchise for the first time ever.

According to announcements shared by both Disney and Topps on social media, the rare autographed cards will debut in the upcoming 2026 Topps Chrome Disney release.

The cards feature Hamilton’s character from Cars 2, where the seven-time Formula 1 World Champion appeared as an animated version of himself. In the film, Hamilton was transformed into a sleek black race car inspired by the McLaren MP4-12C and competed alongside Lightning McQueen and other racers during the World Grand Prix.

Disney shared the news on Instagram, writing:

“For the first time ever, Lewis Hamilton has just signed official trading cards of his Pixar Cars character.”

Topps also announced the cards on X, confirming they will arrive as part of next week’s 2026 Topps Chrome Disney release.

Rare 1-of-1 Autograph Card Revealed

Promotional images released by Topps showcase one of the ultra-rare autograph cards featuring Hamilton’s Cars character in front of a stylized checkered flag backdrop. The card includes Hamilton’s blue signature and is marked as a 1-of-1, making it one of the rarest inserts collectors can potentially find.

Additional promotional artwork highlights Hamilton alongside his animated counterpart, emphasizing the connection between the racing legend and the Pixar character he voiced in the film.

Hamilton’s character remains one of the more memorable celebrity cameos in the Cars franchise, making these cards a unique crossover between Formula 1, Disney, Pixar, and trading card collecting.

The Lewis Hamilton autograph joins the growing lineup of special inserts coming to 2026 Topps Chrome Disney. The annual collection continues to blend Disney and Pixar characters with premium Chrome technology, rare parallels, autograph cards, and other collector-focused chase cards.

Earlier this year, Disney also revealed a new series of Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, and Goofy baseball-themed cards arriving in the same set. Those cards place the iconic Disney characters on Major League Baseball teams as part of Disney and Topps’ ongoing collaboration.
