To celebrate the 20th anniversary of Pixar’s Cars, a new Lightning McQueen popcorn bucket has been released. The bucket is available at multiple dining locations in Disney California Adventure.

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of Pixar's Cars, a new Lightning McQueen popcorn bucket has been released. The bucket is available at multiple dining locations in Disney California Adventure.

The Cars popcorn bucket is designed to look like Lightning McQueen, complete with Rust-eze decals and the number “95” on his sides and roof. Just like in Cars, he has Lightyear-branded tires.

The top of Lightning opens to store popcorn. He comes with a detachable strap adorned with racing checks and the Disney Parks logo. The sound comes from wheeling him around, and there is a wheel lock feature to hold the car stationary when on display.

The bucket’s lighting effects are activated with a switch. His windshield, mouth, headlights, and numbers glow white. Red lighting trims his hood and undercarriage to illuminate the ground below.

There is a limit of two Lightning McQueen popcorn buckets per person, per transaction.

Guests can find the souvenir bucket at Fillmore’s Taste-In, Cozy Cone Motel, and Flo’s V-8 Cafe. It was also released at Disney World.
