The Gorilla Falls Exploration Trail has recently introduced a new male, and the enclosure is closed as the troop acclimates to the new addition.

New Gorilla at Animal Kingdom

There is a rope that blocks the entrance to the viewing spot.

According to Cast Members at the attraction, a 21-year old male gorilla was transferred from another zoo to Animal Kingdom. He had only ever been around other males. The gorilla (name unknown) is very timid, and the enclosure is closed as he is slowly introduced to the troop.

The hope is that he will mate with Azizi. Cast Members did not have reopening information, so stay tuned as we keep an eye on this story.
