Scrim has come down at Ray’s Berets, revealing artificial grass on the roof of the gift shop in Disneyland Park.
Ray’s Berets Grass

The scaffolding and scrim have been removed from the top portion and some of the side of Ray’s Berets.

Pictured above is what it looked like during the process of replacing the real grass with artificial grass.

Previously, Disney had to water and cut the grass, so the artificial grass will be easier to manage.

It also now matches the concept art more closely.
Ray’s Berets is a cozy cabin shop, where Raymond and his firefly kin have filled their home with hats, caps and more. It’s located next to Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, where a young guest recently jumped out of a ride vehicle and slid down the 50-foot drop, in Bayou Country.
