Spider-Man: Brand New Day Trailer Records

Spider-Man: Brand New Day is still over a month away from theaters, but the next Marvel Cinematic Universe Spider-Man film is already swinging past major promotional milestones.

The second trailer for Spider-Man: Brand New Day has become the second-biggest movie trailer launch of all time, reportedly earning 590.8 million views during its first week. The only trailer currently ahead of it is the film’s own first trailer, which previously set the all-time launch record and became the first movie trailer to pass 1 billion views in just four days.

That gives Spider-Man: Brand New Day both the No. 1 and No. 2 spots among the biggest movie trailer launches, months after the first trailer began building anticipation for Tom Holland’s next outing as Peter Parker.

The first trailer for Spider-Man: Brand New Day launched in March, offering fans their first full look at the fourth MCU Spider-Man film. As we previously reported, that trailer became the biggest movie trailer launch of all time with 718.6 million views, passing the previous record held by Deadpool & Wolverine.

The latest trailer arrived on June 17, the same day tickets went on sale for the film. The new footage featured more of Peter Parker’s life after the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home, along with looks at several threats and a raging Hulk.

The second trailer’s reported 590.8 million views in its first week places it just behind the film’s first trailer, meaning Brand New Day is currently dominating the top of the trailer-launch rankings before opening weekend has even arrived.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day

Spider-Man: Brand New Day is still over a month away from theaters, but the next Marvel Cinematic Universe Spider-Man film is already swinging past major promotional milestones.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day is the latest chapter in the series that follows Spider-Man: Homecoming, Spider-Man: Far From Home, and Spider-Man: No Way Home. The film continues Peter Parker’s story after Doctor Strange’s spell erased him from the memories of the people closest to him.

Tom Holland returns as Peter Parker / Spider-Man, with Zendaya back as MJ and Jacob Batalon returning as Ned Leeds. The cast also includes Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle / Punisher, Michael Mando as Mac Gargan / Scorpion, and Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner / Hulk. Sadie Sink also joins the cast in an undisclosed role.

The film is directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, with Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers returning as writers.

A separate promotion also brought the movie into the gaming world. Tom Holland’s Spider-Man: Brand New Day suit is coming to Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 as a free in-game update, giving players the chance to swing through Insomniac’s version of New York City in the same costume featured in the upcoming film.

Samsung also launched a “Spidey Tracker” collaboration connected to the film’s marketing campaign, continuing a wider promotional push that has extended beyond trailers and standard ticket sales.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day swings into theaters on July 31, 2026.
