Edler posted that Iceberg passed away on June 9, 2026 at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore, Maryland “peacefully with his son by his side.”

Iceberg began performing at Tomorrowland Terrace in Disneyland on July 4, 1976. Over the years, he performed throughout Tomorrowland and then later at Magic Kingdom in Florida. He performed at the 1982 opening of CommuniCore in EPCOT. He appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. He released several albums over the years.

A staple of Iceberg’s act was his “Amazing Iceberg Machine,” a group of modified keyboards with synthesizers, creating a unique sound perfect for Tomorrowland. It was housed in a large pyramid. The top opened to reveal Iceberg and the instruments, with mirrors behind him so guests could see him play.
