Guests now have a clear view of Spaceship Earth when walking into EPCOT now that a few tress have been removed.

Trees Removed from EPCOT

The trees, which appear to be Shumard oak trees, were recently removed from the garden bed. It’s located front and center upon immediately entering the park from the front entrance.

The removal now creates a clear line of vision to Spaceship Earth. There are red and white flowers, as well as other shrubbery, still in the space. It’s possible more trees will be planted here in the future.

Pictured above is what the area usually looks like with the trees. When these trees are in full bloom, the view of the lower half of Spaceship Earth is obstructed.
