Guests who fly on Virgin Atlantic will now be moved to a different terminal for arrivals and departures at the Orlando International Airport (MCO).

As announced by MCO, beginning Tuesday, June 30, 2026, Virgin Atlantic will transfer all operations from Terminal A to Terminal C. This means all passengers who depart and arrive on Virgin Atlantic will be affected.

The move is timed with the opening of Terminal C’s expansion, which brings four new MARS (Multiple Aircraft Ramp System) gates (250-254). The hope is that passenger traffic across the airport will be more balanced.

MCO is undergoing several big changes to expand operations over the next 10 years, including renaming the terminals to Terminal 1, 2, and 3. Another bold part of the plan includes an on-airport AAM vertiport by the year 2030. These Air Taxis will take passengers to other areas of the region more quickly. For example, a 2-3 hour trip to Tampa would be shortened to just 30-40 minutes using this technology.
