According to online reports, a young guest jumped out of a ride vehicle on Tiana’s Bayou Adventure at Disneyland Park and proceeded to slide down the 50-foot drop.
Young Guest Jumps Out of Ride Vehicle

The incident occurred at approximately 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 21.
A 13-year-old guest riding Tiana’s Bayou Adventure exited the ride vehicle prior to the end of the attraction. A cast member immediately stopped the attraction. As a precaution, he was evaluated at a local hospital and released.
Witnesses state the guest jumped out of the ride vehicle at the top of the final 50-foot drop.
Reports are divided on whether he fell/tumbled, or slid backward down the drop. One commenter said she was on the ride when it happened and saw the incident unfold. The ride stopped immediately, but then resumed for several minutes so other guests could get off the ride. When she got off the ride, there were six Disney security personnel, as well as a mother and two kids who were soaked.
The ride was closed for the rest of the evening. The attraction is open and operating today.
