Meet Former Disney Imagineer Tom Morris
Few people have experienced as many facets of Walt Disney Imagineering as Tom Morris.
Tom began his Disney career in the 1970s, first working at Disneyland before joining Walt Disney Imagineering, where he spent more than 35 years helping shape Disney parks and attractions around the world. Throughout his career, he served in a variety of creative leadership roles, ultimately becoming a Senior Creative Executive responsible for overseeing major projects from concept through completion.
His work spans multiple Disney destinations, including Walt Disney World, Disneyland Resort, Disneyland Paris, and Hong Kong Disneyland. Along the way, he helped guide teams through every stage of the creative process—from early blue-sky brainstorming sessions and attraction development to construction, opening-day preparations, and operational refinements.
Tom played an important role during one of the most transformative periods in Disney Parks history, contributing to projects that expanded existing parks, introduced groundbreaking attractions, and pushed the boundaries of immersive storytelling. Tom’s biggest projects include serving as the lead designer and Show Producer for Sleeping Beauty Castle and Fantasyland at Disneyland Paris, and the Creative Executive for the entirety of Hong Kong Disneyland.
