Walt Disney Imagineering has shared a behind-the-scenes look at the new technology used for the Disney Adventure’s “Remember” Pixar stage show.

Disney Adventure’s Autonomous Mobilator

Disney Adventure’s “Remember” is a musical stage show that features WALL-E and EVE, as well as other fan-favorite Pixar and Disney characters. The computer-driven mobilator that WALL-E sits on in the show is fully autonomous and includes a ramp for additional characters to join and move freely. The mobilator moves around using LIDAR, cameras, and wheel odometry to know where it’s at on stage.
