A residential fire broke out this evening in the Buena Vista Place Apartment complex on Reams Road near Magic Kingdom. 
Our reporter witnessed eight fire trucks and three ambulances at the entrance to the apartment complex and smoke billowing from one of the units.
A strong thunderstorm cell had just moved through the area, and an eyewitness reported that she saw lightning hit one of the units.
Walt Disney World: Active calls also reported the residential fire north of the Magic Kingdom cast parking at 8902 Buena PL Building 1. “We don’t know the extent of tonight’s apartment fire near Magic Kingdom, but we’re told many Cast Members live in the area.”

A firefighter was seen launching a drone with an infrared camera to look for hot spots to ensure the fire has been extinguished.
Fire radio reported that everyone made it out safely. No further information is available at this time.
