The first wall is right next to the restaurant, followed by a row of planters, and then a second longer wall. These run right up to the bridge that leads to the Adventureland entrance. The walkway and bridge remain open.

The longer wall is on the other side of a fence, so it’s not in the guest path.

We don’t know the exact reason for this area to be blocked off, but it could indicate a refurbishment of the fences. More of the sidewalk could be blocked off if Disney is planning to replace pavement.
