The Main Street, U.S.A. barbershop quartet appeared in special red, white, and blue costumes for Independence Day, bringing a holiday look to their classic performances. We caught a closer look at the group performing down the middle of Main Street, U.S.A. during the July 4 morning festivities while waiting for the U.S. Air Force Reserve’s holiday flyover.

For the holiday, the Dapper Dans traded their brightly colored striped suits for an All-American ensemble. The quartet wore coordinated red, white, and blue outfits, keeping the group’s signature turn-of-the-century barbershop style while adding patriotic colors for the occasion.

Their look still included the recognizable elements associated with the Dapper Dans: straw hats, sharply styled suits, and vintage-inspired footwear. The result was a Fourth of July version of the group’s traditional Main Street, U.S.A. presentation.

The group also performed a holiday-themed song set for Independence Day. MickeyBlog reported that the Dapper Dans were singing patriotic selections as part of their July 4 appearances at Magic Kingdom.

The Dapper Dans regularly perform a cappella numbers and Disney classics on Main Street, U.S.A. The fan-favorite performance consists of a four-man barbershop quartet stopping to perform near the Emporium and welcoming guests to the park as they ride along Main Street in a horse-drawn tram.

The patriotic costumes and themed music make the Dapper Dans one of the smaller entertainment offerings helping Magic Kingdom mark Independence Day. The park is also hosting “Disney’s Celebrate America! A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky,” with the fireworks spectacular scheduled for July 3 and July 4 at 9:00 p.m.
