The Disney Jr. Let’s Play! Party will be back at Disneyland Resort for the weekend of D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event 2026.
The party includes one-day-only entertainment at Disney California Adventure on August 13 (D23 Day at the parks) followed by entertainment at Downtown Disney District August 14 – 16.
Disney Jr. Let’s Play! Party
On August 13, Disney Jr. characters hit the road at Disney California Adventure with the Disney Jr. Let’s Play! Block Party. This cavalcade moves through Hollywood land with show stops at 10:35 a.m. on Hollywood Boulevard and 10:40 a.m. at the Carthay Circle Fountain.

After the cavalcade, head to the Hollywood Backlot Stage for Confection Purrfection with the SuperKitties. Kids can join the show and make cupcakes with the superheroes. If you want to participate, sign up 45 minutes before showtime near the stage. Space is limited and participants must be ages 4 to 11 with an adult (18 years of age or older). Showtimes are 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
The party continues that afternoon with Disney Jr. Let’s Play! Live, an upbeat stage show at Hollywood Backlot Stage. It will be performed at 2 p.m., 3 p.m., and 4 p.m.
Disney Jr. friends will be throughout the park that day for meet and greets, including:
- Sofia the First
- Spidey
- Doc McStuffins
- Vampirina
- Mickey Mouse
- Minnie Mouse
- Donald Duck
- Goofy
- Pluto
The Hollywood Land photo booth will offer Disney Jr.-themed photo strips at two for $10.
Tables near the Hollywood Backlot Stage will become the Disney Jr. Let’s Play! Craft Zone with hands-on activities.
At Animation Academy, guests will sketch Pepper, Princess Sofia’s pet puppy-unicorn.
For the rest of the weekend, Downtown Disney District will host the Disney Jr. Let’s Play! DJ Dance Party. A DJ will play upbeat Disney Jr. songs from noon to 10:30 p.m. at the Downtown Disney LIVE! Stage.
The Bubbles Experience ostensibly inspired by Sofia the First (but actually featuring little to no Sofia) will be available on the stage’s lawn at various times from 1 p.m. to 10:20 p.m. Guests can also take pictures with Sofia the First: Royal Magic backdrops.
The Disney Jr. Let’s Play! Craft Zone also moves to craft tables near the Downtown Disney LIVE! Stage.
