Disneyland Paris announced today, July 10, that the Bastille Day show will not feature pyrotechnic effects due to the ongoing heatwave.

Due to the ongoing heatwave and local restrictions, Disneyland Paris’ Bastille Day celebration on Tuesday, July 14, will not include pyrotechnics. Though the park’s note on their Instagram story indicates that a show will go on:
Due to local authority restrictions related to the heatwave affecting the region, the Bastille Day show will be presented in an adapted version without pyrotechnic effects.
We can’t wait for you to discover this new show, which will take you on a journey around the world with Tinker Bell through beloved Disney and Pixar classics. Emotion and magic will light up the sky with a unique drone display and enchanting projects on Sleeping Beauty Castle.
We are continuing to monitor weather conditions and guidance from the local authorities, which may require us to further adapt or cancel the show. Our priority is to offer you the best possible experience under the circumstances.

Guests are kindly asked to enter the Disney Parks before closing time, as gates may close ahead of the nighttime shows. As show times are subject to change, we recommend checking the latest information on the day of your visit and planning your arrival and the organisation of your day accordingly. Please note: in unforeseen circumstances, such as poor weather conditions or technical issues, our shows and parade may be modified, postponed or cancelled without prior notice.

According to The Weather Channel, temperatures in Paris, France will continue to be in the high 90s between now and Tuesday. The area is currently under an extreme high temperature warning.
