In the latest Pin Tuesday release at Disneyland today, one of the pins changed from being Disneyland-themed to Main Street, U.S.A.-themed.

Every Tuesday, Disney releases new pins at Walt Disney World and the Disneyland Resort. At the start of each month, Disney also releases a flyer with all the pin releases for the month so guests can know what’s coming next.

But during today’s pin release at Disneyland, we noticed the mini jumbo pin looked drastically different than what the flyer depicted. Instead of being themed to Disneyland as a whole, it’s now themed to Main Street, U.S.A. only.

The differences become much more apparent when compared side-by-side. While Sleeping Beauty Castle is still primarily in the middle, the pin is much more simplified.
Instead of all the iconic attractions like Haunted Mansion and Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run surrounding the castle, the Partners statue and Disneyland Railroad are the only attractions depicted. The Disneyland Resort logo beneath the castle has also changed, and while the text, “To all who come to this happy place, welcome” is still present, it’s now above the castle instead. “Main Street, U.S.A.” text has also been added.
We’re not sure why this pin changed so drastically.
