During a press conference in Rio de Janeiro, Dwayne Johnson (Maui) said they are in talks about pursuing Moana 3.
Moana 3
While Johnson did not directly confirm that Moana 3 is an absolute guarantee, he did say that it has been in talks.
“We have talked about Moana 3, yes,” Johnson said during the press conference. He then pivoted back to the upcoming release of the live-action Moana before adding that writers Jared Bush and Dana Ledoux Miller will write the screenplay for the 3rd film.
The live-action Moana comes out July 10. It is currently anticipated to have an $85 million opening weekend.
