New merchandise themed to the popular bear navigator character has been released for the 1st anniversary of Epic Universe, officially celebrated on May 22.
Captain Cacao is a bear who travels the cosmos with Maya of the Skies as her navigator aboard a moonship powered by star-shaped marshmallows. They are in constant search of new sweets and ingredients to share with guests at Celestial Park. Captain Cacao merchandise has been so popular in the past that it has sold out for weeks at a time. Captain Cacao 1-Year Anniversary Merchandise
Captain Cacao Plush – $40


A new version of the popular plush has been released. The black bear has a pinkish snout with a silver star behind one of his eyes. Atop his head is a shiny blue and gold tricorn hat.


He has a buckled, faux leather sash across his chest, and the Epic Universe logo is embroidered in gold on one of his paws.
Captain Cacao Lug Crossbody Bag – $75


This purple Lug bag is decorated with stars and has a front pocket shaped like Captain Cacao’s head. Maya of the Skies and Captain Cacao aboard their moonship is printed on the back.


The frontmost pocket has a celestial map interior lining, and the bag comes with a purple crossbody strap.


There are several pockets to store items, as well as a top handle and rings to clip items on the outside of the bag.
Captain Cacao Lug Coin Purse – $35


A matching coin purse is also available for purchase. Shaped like Captain Cacao’s head, the coin purse comes with a gold lobster claw clip to attach to the bag.


The Lug bag logo is on the back of the coin purse, and the interior is lined with a celestial map pattern.
